MegaEduX Posted August 25, 2010 Share Posted August 25, 2010 Hello, I just hackintoshed my server, which has a P5KPL-AM motherboard, but am facing a strange problem with my LAN adapter, which is an onboard RTL8192E. I tried to install some drivers, like the R1000 kext and the Realtek official one, but when I go to Networking, under System Preferences, it always shows that it is connected under a self-acquired IP, EVEN IF THE CABLE IS PLUGGED OFF. I've been all day researching and trying drivers and couldn't find any solution. Any ideas? SOLVED. It seems the drivers I was trying to use weren't compatible with a 64-bit kernel.
