I have been trying to find a guide to install snow leopard 10.6 on EVGA nForce 780i duel booted with windows 7. I've found some people have done this successfully but no info on how they did it. Has anyone ran across a guide to do this? It would be greatly appreciated... Here are my specs down to the nitty gritty

EVGA nForce 780i SLI Socket 775 MB Rect.

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93Ghz 3M 1066Mhz

Thermaltake Intel Socket 775 CPU Cooling

Apeiva X-Jupiter Full Tower G Type-Black

XFX GeForce 9600 GSO 768MB PCIe w/Dual (x2)

OCZ 2048MB PC8500 DDR2 1066MHz Nvidia SLI (2x1024) And x2 crucial 1024

Kingwin Mach 1 1220w ATX Modular Power

Hitachi 1TB Serial ATA HD 7200/32MB/SATA-3G (x2)

Lite ON 24X DVDRW SATA OEM

Thanks in advanced...

See my nForce Retail Snow Leopard Install Guide............as for dual booting with Win7, separate HDDs for Win7 and OS X are recommended.............use Chameleon or Chameleon-based bootloader in OS X and EasyBCD 2.0 in Windows............

Thanks Verdant, So I can't partition the one HDD because I have windows 7 already on the one HDD with a lot of information on it.

You can but in order for you to install or upgrade OS X 10.6 on MBR partitioned hard drive volumes you need a modified OSInstall.mpkg and OSInstall Unix executable file in the Mac OS X Install DVD...........also OS X and Windows will compete as regards the active bootloader in the MBR..........but it can be fixed.............see post #1 and #2 here.......
