Hello,

Couple of months ago, I bought a 4 Port powered USB hub from the local Microcenter, however it didn't come with a power adapter. The power receptacle is labeled:

http://www.meritline.com/1-6m-usb-hub-warm...x?source=fghdac

Input: DC 5.0V, 500 - 1000MA

Rated Power: 2.5W DC5.0V

The only reasonably priced power adapter I could find was Vohnk AC Adapter from monoprice:

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product....=1&format=2

Input: 100-240V 50/60Hz 0.4A

Output: 5V 2.0A

Since the adapter is providing more power than required by the hub, could this flood the USB bus with feedback power and damage my hardware? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
