I managed to install OSX leopard on my laptop, then well the installation finished, it rebooted (as is the norm) then after going through what looked like the bootscreen with the mac logo and a chameleon, a grey screen came up and VERY LOUD disco music came out of my laptop, with no way of stopping it! razmatt Posted August 23, 2010 Author Share Posted August 23, 2010 sorry im a bit of a n00b how do i get into verbose mode? went into verbose mode, it ran through tonnes of white text on a black screen like a linux live CD boot, then went to blue/grey screen and played that STUPID MUSIC again!?!?!?! razmatt Posted August 24, 2010 Author Share Posted August 24, 2010 can someone please help me? I've tried wiping the HDD and reinstalling the OSX but the same thing happens. The PC turns on, the apple symbol "chameleon" screen comes up and in the top left, it says "loading darwin". After this the mac symbol appears in the middle of the screen and the progress circle appears underneath it. After about 30 secs this screen goes, my sound driver kicks in, but I get a grey/blueish screen with VERY loud music pumping out of the speakers. Can anyone help?
