new posters are limited to posting in this section only. after a few posts you can then post in other forums and native language areas

Feel free to post up your problem in the new users lounge :D

If I am correct you need 6 or so posts in the new user lounge before you can have full access.

I have at least 6 posts already and nothing has changed.

I spent 5 months reviewing a particular thread and bought the hardware based on other users recommendations — I am not going to ask a stupid question and yet I cannot gain assess to the very group designed to help.

Hello James

I would suggest you send a private message to one of the Admin team. I am sure they can solve the issue for you

then I'll open another topic?

Please do :D

Hey James :D. We require 10 posts before you can have full access. You are allowed to post replies across the entire forum, so if there is a thread of interest reply there all you want. If you wish to open a new topic then it will have to be in this forum.

Hey Wangerman,

Is the admin team pretty much the same as a group moderator?

Or: How do you snuff out an admin?

Thanks for your help by the way. I am about to take pics of my installation woes and I am sure I will be able to post soon. Fingers crossed.

Admins have access to editing users, forums, and settings. Moderators only have access to editing posts, moving etc. They also have some abilities to edit users but generally limited.

If you send a PM to someone on the staff, make sure they're active first.

Yes I want to open a new topic in the forum specially dedicated to my hardware setup, not in the new users lounge.

Why cant I do that?

Its not a stupid question I promise. My install issue could be related to the CDR I am using or otherwise.

Thanks.
