I want to built a hackintosh for video editing and planned to use the following hardware: - ASUS P7P55D-E - Intel Core i7-860 - Scythe Mugen 2 Rev. B - 2x Mushkin Silverline Stiletto DIMM Kit 4GB (DDR3) - Gainward BLISS GeForce GTX 260 Golden Sample, 896MB GDDR3 - Corsair Extreme X64 SSD 64GB (only for system and software, got 8TB Raid5 for data) - LG Electronics GH24LS - be quiet Pure Power 430W ATX 2.3 I want to use Adobe Premiere's new Mercury Rendering Engine with CUDA. I just wanted a "future proof" setup and I'm pretty sure there will be a way to get this running afterwards. What do you mean? BTW: Got a PowerMac G5 case for 70 Euros yesterday. What I saw is that it's possible to use it with OSX but I just found a few opinions concerning its usability for Premiere's Mercury Engine and most of them saying that there is no big difference with GPU acceleration turned on and no one stating he uses it in Premiere with OSX Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
