Some problem with Dual Boot

Hi installed SL using the ##### + Multibest method on a single hard drive and it worked like a charm... Updated to 10.6.4 and the CPU was recognized correctly, all was fine...

Then i decided to have a dual boot (need to use 3ds Max), so i erased the drive, repartitioned it using GUID scheme into two partitions.. installed Win 7 on one partition and then installed SL on the other.. This time, after upgrading to 10.6.4, the CPU would not be recognized nor would the system start without the ##### CD (i used the same settings and kexts as used in the previous successful install)...

Re-installed several times, with no luck..

So i erased the entire drive again and merged the partitions.. installed SL and all was good again..

So as of now i have a single partition with only Mac OS X 10.6.4 installed... But i would really like to be able to have windows on this machine too and be able to boot without the ##### CD... any help anyone...?

PS: ideally, i would like to have both the OS on a single disk with two partitions

thanks and regards,

Chandan
