Haulpac
I'm currently giving a "trial run" to iPC OSx86 10.5.6 along side my Windows 7 Pro PC on a Dual Boot. It's like everything else, I like to "try before I buy" especially when considering the COST of Apple Mac in the UK. "Most" aspects of the OSx system seem to be working fine on my PC with the possible exception of the KeyBoard and Mouse ocassionally freezing on me. Anyway that's probably due to drivers and is something I can fix, eventually......... At the moment more importantly is the fact that every time I log out of OSx it changes my Bios system settings to GMT, with the result that everytime I log into Win7 the system is 1 hour slow (behind) (UK time is currently GMT +1, Summertime) I've tried "synchronising" both systems (as suggested in this Forum) but that does not work for me..... I've read many of the "time synchronising fixes" on several Forums (not many mentioning Win7 by the way) and I will probably resort to one of these "fixes" eventually but it beggers belief that I cannot find an "official" easy Apple solution to this minor problem.. Why can't the Apple Time Servers accomodate "Local Times" (i.e GMT Minus or Plus) as does Microsoft, and why, oh why does OSx mess around with my Bios everytime I exit the system ?? Or am I missing something here.....................
