I have a Dell Inspiron 1764 core i5 640gb Sata, 4gb ram and intel HD graphics chipset. I can install OSx 10.6.3 I have not played around with the functionality yet since I try to upgrade every new OS installation to 10.6.4.

I open ##### then mount the dmg and install the pkg of the 10.6.4. The installation proceeds almost to completion, then the system hangs and I get that screen that tells me I need to restart my computer by holding down the power button. After restart I cannot boot into the 10.6.3 it just hangs at the wait screen, it even hangs during safe mode. I also get an error in chameleon that image is too old by x amount of seconds use ForceWake = y. I am unsure what to do any help would be appreciated.

I have considered just using 10.6.3 or downloading a prebuilt 10.6.4 iso. I have the retail version of 10.6.3.
