A_RocC Posted August 19, 2010 Share Posted August 19, 2010 Problem: Final Cut Pro and iMovie crashes after trying to transfer video files from camcorders. The one i had trouble with was AVCHD camcorders. Solution: Final Cut pro needs to run in an intel-based mac, so you need a Boot file that injects the proper CPU-ID. For i7 users download this file and just follow the instructions below. just ignore the smbios.plist that's mine. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD BOOT FILE. None i7 users, idk if it will work, but you could always try. just remember to backup or have a test drive. How to install BOOT File: Using Terminal, copy "boot" to the root of the volume you installed Chameleon on. sudo -scp /[Folder you saved the boot file in]/boot /Volumes/[Main drive where you installed Chameleon] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
