kingmoore Posted August 19, 2010 Share Posted August 19, 2010 So this is the only forum I can post in cause I'm a newb. Hopefully someone can answer or move to the 10.5 forum. Anyways, I have an MSI Wind. I hackintoshed it over a year ago with 10.5.8 and everything ran great for an entire year. It is my wife's laptop, so I'm not exactly sure of the chain of events, but a couple of weeks ago it started freezing up. Also noticed that the resolution got screwy. Upon examining further, the ONLY resolution available is 800x600. I have done mad googling and tried a few things but no luck - reinstalled drivers, rebuild using disk util etc. The other problem is that the computer is freezing. It will run fine as long as you are using it, but if you step away it will freeze every time after about 5 minutes. I turned off the screen saver and that had no effect.
