I am having a sound issue when i update to 10.6.4. if i use the voodohda.kext and restart i get a kernel panic screen. am i using the right .kext file? I have a gigabyte ex58-ud5 mother board. any help or advice is appreciated.

 

One more question: I see posts saying they have AL889a boards and so on. What does that mean?
