spdrman5000 Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 Hi I have a acer aspire 7745G with this setup 8gb ram ddr3 1066 500gb hard drive western digital broadcom BCM943225HM intel core i7-720QM ati mobility radeon HD5650 1 GB Which cd distro should i use? iAtkos s3 v2 disk doesn't boot up when i try im right now downloading snowosx universal v3.6 my cpu-z says this stuff instructions MMX,SSE(1,2,3,3S,4.1,4.2), EM64T, VT-x Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sirbow2 Posted August 13, 2010 Share Posted August 13, 2010 if i were you, i would try a retail setup as you have pretty good vanilla hardware (ssse3, i7 etc) not sure about your network but your going to have to wait to get full graphics support because there are no Apple mobile 5xxx kexts yet if you really want to use a non-retail (iaktos), boot with -v and post a pic of your screen when it hangs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
