I personally dont care if it looks like airport i just want internet. Any help would be appreciated update it appears the chipset is rtl8192su, i tried about 5 different ralink drivers but it still says no device all the same, any ideas? You will have to put the WEP key in 26 characters, is all I saw more difficult than the rest. I wish they work for you as for me PS: I don't remember where I get them, it's just one of the hundred wireless drivers and utilities I have been trying. It said that RT61Cardbusdriver.kext didn't install correctly and I needed to reinstall. On the second attempt, it installed fine. Thanks a bunch! But now it keeps disconnecting/reconnecting to the point where ichat conversations are impossible. I've reinstalled the driver a bunch of times to no avail. Also, I installed iAtkos s3 v2 10.6.3 snow leopard myself and installed this driver you supplied right away, but then when i restarted: KP, Kernel Panic. "You need to restart your computer". * Expletive* I guess i'll have to purchase a more compatible wifi card if i can't get this one to work... I'm new to this, but learning. Can someone point me in the right direction to learn how to remove kext files i've installed for this wificard when I get a Kernel Panic on startup? I can boot into safe mode. I'm so tired of having to start over by popping in the CD and reinstalling. I found an article on how to use the Disk utility to restore the Mac OS install disck to an external hard drive and boot from the external drive to make installs easier.
