Adam G8 GXP
So over time I know that my Vista partition, with all the programs I am using should be about 65 GBs. I needed to make it bigger few times until reached this size. I want to Install Vista for games (65GB), Ubuntu for work (15 GB, tentative size), and OS X (maybe 20 GBs?) just to play with it and see what all the buzz is about. 4th partition will be for data that all of the OSes should have access to. It will be installed on Dell XPS M1530, Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, nVidia 8600M GT, 320 GB WD 7200 RPM HDD. How big partition size for os x should be? Also, any links specific to guides installing OSX on XPS M1530 are welcome. Thanks in advance.
Awesome-X
20 gigs should be more than enough unless you're planning on doing a ton of app installs. Right now my install of 10.5.2 is using 10 gigs of space so you'd have an extra ten-ish gigs to play around with.
Adam G8 GXP
Thanks. What file systems do OS X and Windows can both access?
