StacksOvaflow
Hi there, so, i just installed iAtkos S3 on my PC but i can't boot on it, when i boot with -v cpus=1 busratio=20 maxmem=2048 arch=i386 the system reboots after a few seconds, here are the last lines i can read : No SMBOIS replacement found. Patched DMI Table. No DSDT replacement found. Leaving ACPI data as is Starting Darwin x86 then, what do? Also, i have installed SL on my HDD from another computer, because on mine i get the error "still waiting for root device", and can't get rid of it. so i put my HDD in another computer and started installation. Also², i can't boot my computer without iAtkos DVD in. When it's not in it, Chameleon boots, and it freeze after I press F8... My specs : AMD Phenom II x2 550 MotherBoard : Gigabyte 770TA 4Gb RAM DDR3 ATI radeon HD5770, the MSI hawk one Hope you have answers, guys. Thanks in advance. J.B
since you cant boot into OSX, use a livecd and put the kexts in the directory /system/library/extensions then boot with the -f flag as well when you eventually get to OSX, rebuild your mkext using the pfix utility (google it) and you wont need to use -f also, on the system that got still waiting for root device, did you have the HDD plugged in at SATA0 on you MB
StacksOvaflow
i have added the kexts with MacDrive, and I didn't replaced those were there already. boot with -f flag, the system loads more kexts (like 4 pages of kexts loaded, only one page loaded before) but i get the same error message at the end. EDIT : so, i have put my HDD in another computer and Snow leopard works perfectly, but not on mine... hope it helps.
