2) Second You should format your flash drive as HFS+ in Disk Utility

6) REMEMBER... ALL OF THIS WAS DONE ON AN EXISTING MAC SYSTEM :D

NOTE: YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE A PS2 KEYBOARD AND MOUSE... TRY USB :)

7) Plug in Your 8gb Flash Drive to your NEW I7 SYSTEM and boot into BIOS

8) NOTE IF THIS DOES NOT WORK PLEASE FLASH YOUR BIOS TO VERSION 0808 AT THE ASUS WEBSITE

9) Configure Your Drives to AHCI... THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT

10) NOTE... YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR HDD IN SATA PORT 1... YOUR CD DRIVE IN SATA PORT 3... XFX HD 5770 IN PCI EXPRESS PORT 1 -_-

11)Exit and save Bios... MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR BURNED ##### CD INSIDE THE DVD DRIVE After You see the p6t se screen continuously press F8... 13) You should see a chameleon boot screen simply move the arrow keys so that your installer usb is selected and type

THIS WILL BOOT INTO VERBOSE MODE :)

13b) Then Select Disk Utility

13c) Partition your drive to 2 partitions... select the GUID Partition Table... name one windows 7 and make it MSDOS FAT and name the other Macintosh HD and make the format Mac OS Extended Journaled (top one) Then Click Apply

13d) Choose your Macintosh Partition

14) Run Through the normal Snow Leopard Install and if you wish to deselect and options you do not like... if you wish to check the customize button

15) Restart continuously press F8 all over again :) EXCEPT THIS TIME BOOT INTO THE USB AND BOOT INTO THE MACINTOSH PARTITION

16) SELECT YOUR MAC PARTITION TYPE -V AGAIN....

17) SETUP YOUR MAC ACCOUNT ... (YOU MAY WANNA REMOVE THE ETHERNET) :)

18) YAY... YOU HAVE FINALLY BOOTED INTO THE SNOW LEOPARD GUI CONGRATS :)

19) download the 10.6.4 combo update SIMPLY SEARCH 10.6.4 COMBO UPDATE IN GOOGLE

20) install mac os x combo update BUT DO NOT RESTART OTHERWISE YOU COULD GET KERNEL PANIC

21) DOWNLOAD AND RUN THE INSTALLER FOR #####...

22) SELECT A PS/2 FIX AND THAT ANYTHING ELSE YOU WISH TO HAVE... ##### WILL FIX KERNEL PANICS BY ITSELF DO NOT INSTALL GRAPHICS :) SINCE THIS IS NON-DSDT PLEASE SELECT ALL THE NON-DSDT PATCHES ;)

23) Once the ##### has finished and exited you can restart your computer

24) CONTINUOUSLY PRESS F8 AND BOOT FROM THE ##### CD... select your macintosh install and press -v

24B) IF YOU HAVE MOUSE PROBLEMS RESTART, PRESS F8, SELECT USB, SELECT OS X PARTITION AFTER ALREADY USING ##### CD

25) DOWNLOAD THESE CORRESPONDING LINKS

download link for 64 bit

download link for 32 bit

26) Since This Build is only MAC you should choose 64 bit... but if you want windows as well you should choose 32 bit

64 bit tutorial (NOTE IF YOU WANT DUAL BOOT YOU SHOULD GO WITH 32 BIT RIGHT NOW)

27) download the 64 bit files

28) install everything using kext helper b7 (google is your friend)

29) install the asere boot loader package :)

30) click on go at the top of the screen

31) type in /extra/ and goto that folder

32) copy com.apple.Boot.plist to your desktop

33) edit it so that it contains this

<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string></string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>InstantMenu</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>1</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>

34) copy it back to your /extra/ folder and replace it

and then reboot your computer... if everything is successful then you should now bask in 1080p glory... or less :)

32 BIT TUTORIAL

27) download 32 bit files

28) use kext helper b7 to install all the files including ATY_INIT

29) click on go then goto the folder /extra/

30) copy com.apple.boot.plist to your desktop

31) edit it so it has something like this

<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>arch=i386</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>InstantMenu</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>1</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>

32) Place your modified com.apple.boot.plist into your /extra/ directory

33) Reboot your computer and boot with any version of chameleon may it be usb... efi... cd ANYTHING... this is the main advantage in my opinion

Dual Boot Tutorial

When you created 2 partitions in disk utility you really created 3... one is just 200 mb because it is for efi... which is the mac way for booting

34) TAKE OUT YOUR SNOW LEOPARD INSTALL CD... USB... ETC. OTHERWISE WINDOWS INSTALLATION WILL FAIL :(

35) Put in your windows 7 disk and goto the installation until you reach the partition window

36) Click on Drive Options (advanced)

37) highlight your windows 7 partition and hit format... DO NOT DELETE THE 200mb PARTITION :gun:

38) Highlight your windows 7 partition and continue with the installation

39) Once you have finally booted into Windows... install any drivers that you may want

40) and turn off your computer

41) Insert your snow leopard INSTALL USB and boot back into MACINTOSH HD

42) Install Chameleon to your hdd from #####

43) Reboot your computer and select windows 7 64 bit or mac os x :)
