Bootloader fails after format and re-install

Hi all,

Please forgive my naive request for help with this one as I'm completely novice! Just a couple of things that are bothering me upon reinstalling Snow Leopard on my Hackintosh PC.

Mind you, the first time I installed Snow Leopard everything worked absolute wonders... even based on my little knowledge for Macs.

Now:

- I can't seem to get a bootloader to operate. The system fails to boot Snow Leopard although if I use the bootloader from my USB which contains the Snow Leopard install, I can select 'Macintosh HD' (which is the HD I have with Snow Leopard installed). This is how I've had to boot up.

- The 'About My Mac' shows incorrect MHz value and notes the CPU as 'Unknown'. This wasn't evident on the first installation.

Any help would be ideal!

Best regards,

Mikey
