crzybowler300 Posted July 28, 2010 Share Posted July 28, 2010 Hey everyone, So I'm really new to this however I am very computer literate. I got a wild hair and decided to install SL on my pc. I have the G41M-ES2L which from what my research told me, is the cheapest way to go that most everthing works. Well I successfully installed it and everything looks great however I can't figure out for the life of me why it won't grab an ip address with the onboard LAN even though in properties it says its installed with the realtek r1000sl. in the manual i got with the mobo it says that the onboard lan is RTL8111C/D. I'm totally lost now..can someone please help me! once i got it SL up i ran the installer from http://www.ridgel1ne.com/OSX86/Tutorials.html that was taliored to this mobo and cpu (e6300). sound works, video onboard works (1024x768 i have a geforce 8400gs i havent installed yet). the lan is the last hangup.
