Swad
Well, it used to be the Japanese forum, but there were so many Chinese posts that we decided to make it Chinese and make a new Japanese forum. If someone will make me a list of the Japanese posts in this forum, I'll clean out everything else. Thanks!
ual808
wada
日本語のこのページがもっと活発な議論の場になればいいなと思っています。 日本語でOSX86を使っている人や関心を持っている人は多いと思います。ご存知のように中国語も日本語も漢字をベースにしておりますが、「ことえり」を使いひらがなから漢字への変換が必要な日本語はやはり特殊なのでしょうか? 私は10.4.7を使っていて、ことえりや漢字などのフォントについての問題は全くありません。 もっと、もっと、いっぱい、日本語でポストしましょうよ!!! Translated to Englis as follows.. I do want that this page is glowing a place for those who discuss about Japanese MacOSX each other.I think many use Japanese OSX and lots of people are interested in it. As yu know,Japnese and Chinese are based on Kanji Chinese characters,Kotoeri, translation program from Japanese hiragana characters (words) to Japanese kanji characters (mixture of kanji and hiragana and katakana characters),is needed to use Japanese language. Is Japanese different from other languages? I use OSX10.4.7 and have no problems with Kotoeri and Japanese fonts. I want much more persons post this page in Japanese Thanks
Wisam
Wadaさん、こんにちは。 私は日本語勉強します。Mac OSにWindowsXPのWRITING PADの同じがありますか。 今までさがしています。 Hi, wada san. I am learning the Japansese language and I would like to know if there is a writing pad in Mac OS X just like Windows XP. I use the writing pad in Windows XP to write Kanji characters and then select the appropriate kanji. I am looking for this feature in Mac OS X but I cannot find it. So you know how to draw Kanjis in Mac OS X. ありがとうございます。 Thanks

Atsushi
ApplicationsのTextEditじゃダメですか?? Did you use TextEdit? You know TextEdit and find it in Applications on Mac OS X. I use it for writing kanji, if you didn't try it, you should try it. Thank you, Atsushi Wadaさん、こんにちは。私は日本語勉強します。Mac OSにWindowsXPのWRITING PADの同じがありますか。 今までさがしています。 Hi, wada san. Wisam
和田さんとあつしさんのへんじをありgらとうございます。Texteditはいいですでも漢字のパッドをもっていません。実は、MacにあのWindowsXPのパッドをみました。JEDictはとってもいい事象です。漢字のパッドがあります。ここでつかってみましょう http://jedict.com/ Thanks wada san and atsushi san for your replies. Textedit is good program but it does not have Kanji writing pad to drawo Kanji. I found a good dictionary called JEDict. In fact, it is the best one I've ever seen. It has writing pad similar to Windows XP. See it on this website: http://jedict.com/ Arigatou Gozaimasu
wada
I found what you want! You can use Kanji characters on Windows-like Kanji input pad with Moji Parret of this program. But this pachege is not free,,,the list price is 9800 yen in Japan. Too high? I tried 30days-trial version, and the result is very good. I thought that it is better than Kotoeri input method. If you interested in it,please contact the folowing conpany. http://www.ergo.co.jp/ The product and what you want are:文字パレット:: http://www.ergo.co.jp/products/egb16/index.html#03 This would be your question's answer!! fireshark
I don't understand Kotoeri, for some reason I can't choose the kanji I want. Is it different from Windows IME? What do I press to bring up the selection menu?
wada
Do you look for USA flag or あ on MacOSX screen? If USA flag exists, you should crick on it and select ( あ Hiragana ) in the menu, then Kotoeri runs. If you watch あ in the upper right on your screen,Kotoeri is running. OK?
