It's all over the web now, the fcc has received a prototype called M6 form apple for approval, This prototype is obviously a mighty mouse, and it has bluetooth. What's not all over the place is the fact that this mighty mouse is laser based, instead of simply optical, according to it's manual (available at FFC's site). Not huge news, but some people will be glad to know

A bluetooth mighty mouse have been expected long time, I can't believe thy took this long

Pics and manual can be obtained freely on the FCC site

The Mighty Mouse will still be a bit annoying due to how the finger sensors work. You have to lift one finger off to right click and stuff (although you get used to it).

I'll be saving up for one. My beloved (infrared-optical so that it does not blind you in the your dark room where you use it to remote-control your media computer) MediaPlay cordless mouse + dongle no longer does "we get signal".

On second thought, though, the Bluetooth might be a problem, since only my MacBook has it, and the two-dimensional scroll behavior could get on my nerves... hm. Anyone care to elaborate how their Mighty Mouse works with 2D scrolling in Linux and/or OS X + X11? GIMP and Inkscape are important to me ;_;
