Hackingtosh, i5 for audio

My first post, as well as first hackintosh.

 

I mix music, and i am in need of something faster than my current setup.

So i thought i would try to built a Hackintosh.

 

So far i am thinking gigabyte mobo, i5 with 8 gb of ram.

i5 750

DVD drive of some sorts

Maybe SSD for startup.

Quiet case with easy access to HD.

 

What else do i need.

 

Here's is a few things i am concerned about.

Will it work with my Metric Halo 2882 firewire interface.

Will it run 64 bit.

Will bluetooth and wifi work flawless.....need my magic mouse, and plan to get an ipad.

Does it work with 2 graphics card. Might get away with only one.

 

I run Logic and sometimes Nuendo, and various other audio related programs.

 

Which hack should i use.
