i have a dell diminsion e310. it has 10.5.6 but the sound doesnt work. ive tried the applehada patcher 1.2 per the instructions from the wiki but it wont work. wiki page

and it says to use .txt to save the file but there is no .txt in the dropdown so i put it on the end of the file name and it asked me to either use both or just one from the dropdown. i tried it with all of them.
