The Dad Posted July 15, 2010 Share Posted July 15, 2010 Mac guy since 1988, looking at building my first Hackintosh. I'd like to spend about $250, excluding case, power supply, RAM, and hard drives. I'd like HDMI out and good enough video performance for use as a HTPC. As a practical matter, at this price point, that probably means that onboard video is the way to go, but I can't figure out whether, e.g., the AMD 785G chipset-based motherboards are Hackintoshable.
