Braddo Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 Hi! I've installed iDeneb v1.5.1 (10.5.7), and i'm really pissed off cause my Xpress 200m will only work at 1024x768, it's very annoying... This display supposed to work at 1280x800, and i really don't know how i do that... Oh and here are the specs of my laptop: made when i still had windows7 Thanks in advance! Brad ps. errandwolfe Posted July 8, 2010 Share Posted July 8, 2010 Just some info for you until someone more knowledgeable pipes up...Stressing this is to the best of my knowledge. Had this GPU several years back on a laptop. 1. This card has never had full video acceleration under OS X. This means to QE/CI and no using apps that require it. 2. In 10.4 there was a kext package called Callisto that would enable resolution switching. 3. In 10.5 I believe the only way to get higher rez was to specify at boot. You can not switch the resolution dynamically. 4. In 10.6....I have no idea, think everyone gave up on this GPU a long time ago. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
