d-track
it will i guess but before i destroy all my important data on the HDD- have some questions:) one sata hdd. Snow Leopard (10.6.4) with Chameleon bootloader running fine. i'd like to have Win XP on the same HDD. opened Disk Utility and created a fat32 partition for XP. my plan: - install XP sp2 from the sata dvd drive on startup (boot install from the XP disc) - no matter what one will boot up after xp install (or neither) - i'll put my psystar boot cd into the drive (the one wich i used to boot the SL dvd first and later after the installation of OSX and before Chameleon applied) - i'll reinstall Chameleon rc4 - then i boot from hdd and Chameleon gives a boot menu where i can choose osx or xp right? if not, please tell me whats the missing part –) thx
Khan_Man
the only thing that I've found critical for that combo of OSs is XP won't boot from a GUI partition (has to be MBR). Those are setting U'll find in disk utility/partition, down near the bottom. Might not be an issue for U, good thing to check tho. Khan

Khan that makes sense. what ive found is XP install will rewrite the partition as MBR but osx couldnt boot from MBR thats why i have to use chain0. here is a tutorial http://myhpmini.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1126 this says i have to put xp onto the 1st partition. is it neccessary? because i dont want to reinmstall my complete OSX.
