Gringo Vermelho Posted July 6, 2010 Share Posted July 6, 2010 Run console.app and check the boot logs. Look at the time stamps to pinpoint exactly where it's stalling. When you have this information it's much easier to find a solution. Mine arrives at the desktop in ~29 seconds, counting from selecting the system drive in the Chameleon GUI. I'm not counting the BIOS post because it's notoriously slow on my motherboard, even with disabling as much as I can in the BIOS. My old P4 boots OS X faster than my (resonably) modern PC.
