lapinobel Posted July 3, 2010 Share Posted July 3, 2010 I just tried installing OSX on my pc, but it doesn't seem to work. Pc hangs right after changing to the Snow Leopard cdrom and pressing enter. Also tried the -x option but this didn't help either. Bios has AHCI activated. My system: * Asus P5Q-E (bios 1307 - EC Bios MBEC-0030) * Intel Core i5 750 * 4gb ram * 160gb 2.5" SATA drive (for OSX, got bigger drives for Windows - disconnected these for osx) * Ati 5850 videocard (PCI-E) Tried with both the Ati-cdimage and the 'general' one. Same result with both. I've read something about my Bios needing a flash, but will this harm my Windows functionality?
