JimmydeGL Posted June 23, 2010 Share Posted June 23, 2010 I just updated to Snow Leopard 10.6.4 today (straight from 10.6). I used the Netbook Installers to get me this far but I have two problems. Firstly, SL has decided that I have really poor graphics, so I can't make my menu bar translucent and the icons in the dock don't move like they should. I've installed as many 950 GMA kexts as I can get my hands on with no luck. Performance is also slower than in 10.6. The other problem is that SL isn't reading the battery, so my battery symbol just has an "X" in it for no recognized battery. Not the best idea for a netbook... The Voodoo battery kext doesn't seem to help either. Anybody have any ideas? If anybody has any questions about upgrading, I can probably answer those as well.
