Just update your 10.6.7 system with 10.6.8 combo update
after this DO NOT reboot.
exchange the mach_kernel with a special atom version:

But you only have to use the new kernel, no other kext or different bootloader.
Only save yout dsdt.aml then run 10-6-8 combo installer
- Download the patched kernel
- Launch Terminal.app and execute the following command:
- sudo mv /mach_kernel /mach_kernel_bad
- sudo mv /mach_kernel_atom /mach_kernel
- reboot, wait for netbookmaker finish
- update your system via software update
- reboot, wait for netbookmaker finish
- exchange your dsdt.aml back to extra.
