10.6.8 atom installation guide !!!

Just update your 10.6.7 system with 10.6.8 combo update

after this DO NOT reboot.

exchange the mach_kernel with a special atom version:

But you only have to use the new kernel, no other kext or different bootloader.

Only save yout dsdt.aml then run 10-6-8 combo installer

• Download the patched kernel
  
• Launch Terminal.app and execute the following command:
  
• sudo mv /mach_kernel /mach_kernel_bad
  
• sudo mv /mach_kernel_atom /mach_kernel
  
• reboot, wait for netbookmaker finish
  
• update your system via software update
  
• reboot, wait for netbookmaker finish
  
• exchange your dsdt.aml back to extra.

btw with the new kernel the atom system is recognized as Intel Core 2 Solo
