Tadachi18
I want to install OSX on my laptop but i get the "Still Waiting for Root Device" Miracle Message.... I just noticed that my laptop Harddrive has jumper adapter in it..(IDE).. I check online and found out that the jumper where in "Cable Select" using this information i changed it to slave but the bios didnt see the harddrive so i put it on another postiion that im assuming will work but im not at home so i dnt have access to a OSX86 DVD Now I do have a IDE/SATA usb adapter coming in the mail soon... So will any body care to explain the "Still Waiting for root Device" Message... I figure that it means the DVD Drive isnt master so it fails or detect the Chipset.. Im confused about that message... Will using that USB adapter bypass that? I would like to know more of the reason behind that and how to get around it?
