Boot 132 refuses to boot with an external HDD plugged in

So I have Windows on my hard drive and there's too much partition work if I want to install another OS, so I decided to try installing OSX onto an external HDD I had lying around.

But the title! You've probably noticed it! (Hopefully.) Okay then, you would probably be asking, how did I install OSX onto the external HDD? I removed the external HDD while the disc (##### Supported from tonymacosx86) was booting, and then inserted it after I started booting the OSX installer disc.

The problem is, Chameleon here doesn't seem to detect external HDDs that you plug in after it loads, even when you press F5.

I've tried booting ##### Supported and a BootCDMaker generated disc, and both of them get stuck with my external HDD plugged in.

I haven't tried with my BootCDMaker disc what I tried with the ##### disc (plug in after Chameleon boots and press F5), but I'm assuming it's still the case because they're both Chameleon!

Does anyone know of any solution?

EDIT: I've just realised that this might go better in Post-installation or Installation...
