MSN Messenger 5

Has anyone been able to get MSN messenger 5 working? I drag the app to the desktop and start it up. Everything works through the setup...then it just hangs when I hit finish. Any ideas would be helpful.

Microsoft Messanger5 is work fine.

But, in japanese envirment some problem.

smoiz, i thought i was having that problem; just leave it for a while after you click Finish and it will sign in and be fine the next time you start it, i sometimes find clicking Finish again resolves it.

unselect place in dock & start once install is finished & it shouldn't hang, then place it in the dock manually

i'm not too sure how mine is installed (it virtualy mounts it everytime i turn it on) cause i "installed" it before i knew the right way, but it works flawlessly and smooth for me.

So I downloaded MSN 5 from their site, the .dmg mounted fine.

I copied MSN Messneger into my Applications folder but when clicking on it, it dosn't show up. You can see in the dock that it's working, but then closes down. Im assuimg it crashed?

 

I'm running in VMWare without the SSE2 > SSE3 patch.
