How to Configure Folders in 'Mail' the Application

im trying to configure os x’ ‘mail’ application with my IMAP account. it has pre-set folders. Sent mail is stored in a folder called “Sent Mail’ that ‘mail’ creates. I want ‘mail’ to use my sent mail folder, which is simply named ‘Sent’ instead. I can’t seem to find the folder settings in ‘mail’ to change this. Thanks in advance for any help
