vishytk Posted May 27, 2010 Share Posted May 27, 2010 I have ASUS M4N78-PRO which comes with NVidia Geforce 8300 onboard graphics. I have successfully installed snow leopard 10.6.2 (hazard) on this system and everything is working just fine except that the resolution is fixed to 1024x768. How do I change the resolution to 1600x900. I have already tried passing "Graphics Mode" installing kext's but without any luck. Also, I would like to know if onboard graphics will support higher resolution or not. Because from what I have understood from various other responses got from IRC channels or forums so far is that it will not. I will get get higher resolution only if I have an external PCI NVidia graphics card with dedicated RAM like 128M etc., Can someone help me on this.
