skills73
I have a Macbook Pro, and my superdrive sucks (often spitting out my CD's and DVD's). I am in the midst of playing Neverwinter's night 2 and am worried that my superdrive will die, not allowing me to play my game anymore. I was hoping I could 'fool' the game and make a disc image of the game so that I didn't need to keep putting in my DVD of the game to play it. But I've tried all the tricks in Disk Utility AND Toast Titanium but it still asks me to 'put in the game disc to play'. Does anyone know of a software (hopefully free..or cheap?) that can get me around this so I can put a game on my drive, or even duplicate the DVD just in case the original DVD eventually breaks (I have a 1 year old daughter and I know what kids can do to DVD's). I've tried ripping the DVD already but the new dual layer DVD of the game I made doesn't work..it still asks me to put in the original game. Any help? Thanks!
