So should I opt-in for the Cataclysm beta on my hackintosh? It sends your system specs, which means it reports that I'm running 10.6.3 on a Gigabyte motherboard and NVidia 9800gt etc. Could there be any possible negative repercussions to this?

Yeah shouldn't be any issue... Blizzard shouldn't go running to Apple and tell on us all anyway ;-)

I don't think blizzard really cares about it, but if you really don't want to risk it, just go to a real mac or a windows pc and do the system scan in that computer.

For those looking for Cataclysm cd-keys, I just got mine on gamersloot.net they were serious, prompt and efficient... what else could I ask for lol =)
