thanks!

That desktop looks really good.

I got most of this information from the ubuntu forums, I just put it together. The only thing different is the search is not using beagle. You can change this in gconf-editor @ /desktop/gnome/applications/main-menu, and change the search_field key to "beagle-search SEARCH_STRING"

Well, your blog is to the point and didn't have to go hunting for things needed to get everything working. And that's a good thing

It's good to say that the deb will be addedd to QuinnStorm's repo at some point along with a modified control center.

I like the patches that were added and the fact that it is in Quinn's repo now.

Gonna leave dapper alone for the next few weeks. I just found out that Vista can be installed on a drive already populated with Dapper and not having to burn it by using DAEMON Tools :(. Now if ATI would get there {censored} right and release a proper beta driver.

I have a ZD1211 and now with WEP/WPA support that was posted at the ubuntu forum a few weeks back. I have no idea what wlan card you have so it's sorta useless for me to try to help tshoot your wlan problem.

(make sure you install the proprietary video driver first)
