Swad Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 I went to see Mission Impossible 3 at the cheap theater last night and I'll have to say that I was impressed. The action was good, the plot was more like the first MI movie than the second one, and overall I thought it was very well done. I was a big fan of the John Woo version of II, but thought it was a little too blockbuster-ish. I'm never a huge fan of Tom Cruise - mostly because I keep having Oprah flashbacks - but all in all I thought it was pretty good. Anyone else like it? One was good but a little too confusing for me... at least it was when I saw it at 12... 2 was really good but was just a little too much for me. John Woo is good, but all the slow motion, doves flying around, etc made it a little over the top. I thought this one hit the right note of being emotional (love story, gotta defend his woman) and then action. The bad guy is great and a little unusual for a bad guy. Overall just a great flick.
