Hi Guys,

I have installed Snow Leopard on my netbook. I have used a retail installation of 10.6.0 and later updated
to 10.6.3.

I am using Chameleon RC5 Pre7 r69 with the following kexts in /Extra/Extensions:

- AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext
- ApplePS2Controller.kext
- ApplePS2Keyboard.kext
- ApplePS2Mouse.kext
- Disabler.kext
- FakeSMC.kext
- IOATAFamily.kext
- NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
- OpenHaltRestart.kext
- PlatformUUID.kext

For Sound and Battery to work I use the following kexts in /System/Library/Extensions:

- AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext
- VoodooHDA.kext

- Bluetooth works OOB

The rest of the system is completely untouched and 100% legit/unmodified.
I only removed IOATAFamily.kext from /System/Library/Extensions/ because it might give kernel panics.
Note: After the 10.6.3 v1.1 combo update you'll need to remove this kext again!

What doesn't work yet:

- Intel GMA950 0x27ae8086
- Onboard WiFi AR5B95 Atheros 9285 - 168c 002b
- Onboard Ethernet

Since Snow Leopard 10.6.2/3 doesn't support the Atom processor anymore, I use the following kernel:

- chocolate_kernel [I use this one but both work great]
- atom_kernel

I temporarily use a Sitecom WL-352 300N mini USB adapter for wireless internet.

To get video working, i've tried so damn many options, that i'm tired of trying.
I use a patched DSDT with PNLF values. HexEdited IntelGMA950 and AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer etc.

About This Mac still crashes but i've read that AppleSMBIOSEfi-28air will fix that problem. I'll try this solution later.

For video try these kexts: http://www.mediafire.com/?ulmbgzonbi3 (Place in /Extra/Extensions) Rebuild extensions with kext utility and you will need the chameleon with GMA GraphicsEnabler or efi string for gma 950.

I have Atheros 9285 working in my VAIO VPCW12J1E. I use the extension I found in "kets.com". You can try it.

can you help  me with the installation of MAc OS X on my VPCS11V9E  ?
I tried the hazard and iboot but without results.
A question.....  did you install on the same pc (with dual boot) or yu install on usb key ? or on Virtual machine ?
I try to install on virtual machine beacause i can't do the dual boot.
