Thelgord
There seems to have been a fundamental shift in the way applescript-cocoa apps work in 10.6 from previous versions of mac os. It seems 99% of all of the resources are for the previous versions. I am new to mac development, and (for now) i am just learning how to set/get various properties of controls made with the Interface Builder from apple script. I can use: tell ThisSlider to setIntegerValue_(20) and the slider control pops to the proper position. All is good. The problem I am having is when I try to get the current position of the slider control. Nothing I try seems to work. I can get/set most controls properties, but for the life of me this slider control is kicking my tail. I welcome any advice. [edit] never mind. got it.
