[segnalazione] iStat Menu update

Ciao Ragazzi! stamattina appena avvio snow mi compare il pop up di istat menu che mi consiglia l'aggiornamento, quindi procedo al volo! Purtroppo mi ha fregato! Appena installato compare la dicitura "14 days left" ed in basso "buy or register". Anche questo bel programma diventa a pagamento! Me lo godo un pò e poi rimetto il vecchio che era ottimo e totalmente libero ! Per cui non buttate la precedente versione...sennnò poi la seccatura di andarlo a ricercare nel caso non si "trovassero" i seriali della nuova. Ciauz!

Visto anche io l'update. Comunque c'è scritto che la versione nuova è a pagamento.

Infatti mi sono tenuto quella vecchia!

 

 

Anch'io. Vecchia la storia del software freeware che appena viene superato un certo numero di scaricamenti, viene aggiornata e messa a pagamento.

 

Il freeware deve essere freeware e non una porta di entrata al software a pagamento. Preferisco lo shareware che in caso di non licenziamento ti mette un ritardo, un avviso etc.

Anch'io non ho aggiornato visto che era a pagamento (10$). Ora guardo se il widget è ancora free...

già corso ai ripari! ho levato la 3.01 e messo la 2.0 dopo averla "trovata", comunque si "trova" anche la 3.03 con relativo "occorrente"

Probabile però io odio usare programmi non free per delle funzioni così poco importanti ed ad un primo sguardo in google questo sembra fare al caso mio: http://www.ragingmenace.com/software/menumeters/#license :(

si , infatti su leopard usavo menu meters....solo che li non avevo la retail ma una distro e, ora so perchè, non funzionavano i rilevamenti della temperatura processore e hd. Su snow mi ero buttato su istat menus...ma alla fine menu meter fa le stesse identiche cose.
