@ Kappy

Can you dump SMC keys again two time?
First with AC in.
Second when on battery.

Trying to figure out SMC keys for future use with ACPIMonitor.

Thanks!

Yes use the SMC_util2 uploaded there.

Actually I want to expand this a bit if you don't mind, and get the dumps in 4 situations:

1. When battery is 100% charged and AC in, in terminal:

sudo -s
Drag in terminal SMC_util2 then add -l > ~/Desktop/AC_BatFull.txt

2. Then remove the power and in terminal:

sudo -s
Drag in terminal SMC_util2 then add -l > ~/Desktop/DC_BatFull.txt

3. After lets say 30 min on battery, in terminal:

sudo -s
Drag in terminal SMC_util2 then add -l > ~/Desktop/DC_BatDischarging.txt

4. Then plug the power and on terminal:

sudo -s
Drag in terminal SMC_util2 then add -l > ~/Desktop/AC_BatCharging.txt

Thanks!

P.S. If you can also take a pic of istat menu on this situations would be great! :)

@The King:

OK, here's the SMC utility results you asked for.

Attached File  SMCResults.zip   2.19KB   8 downloads

P.S. If you can also take a pic of istat menu on this situations would be great! ;)

Although I do have iStatMenus installed, it fails to show anything in the menubar other than the icon. It's not recording or displaying any battery information.

The OS X battery indicator starts out at around 2 hours and was down to 1:34 remaining when I recorded the last two SMC outputs.

This has been typical with any version of OS X I've had on the Mini. And, I have the 6-cell battery which should show 4 hours, but it doesn't.

Hope all this helps.

Thanks, I'll look on those to see what we can use...

L.E. I gave up on latest IStat, it does not load battery stuff if it does not find smart battery...
Even when I forced to load it does not like the key I inject
So I'm back to old good 2.0 and free with hacked widget

A new BIOS F.16 has been released by HP for the Mini 311. The icelord hacked version is here.

Yes I flashed icelord fixed one and also looked on it quick.
No news for us, we still have the same bug on LAN and S4 USB 2.0 lost, DSDT is identical F15/F16, no idea what it fixed for windows but for us is same.

Thanks a lot, THe KiNG !

MowgliBook, I guess you will soon post a new pack with all the latest updates, including these from THe KiNG. :(
Would you please also list the content of your folders, like I did here (please add dates also) ?

I request this as most of us tested previous hacks / kexts / updates. Now, we might have outdated files that mess with the good ones, and we have no way to know what should be wiped out.

Again thanks, THe KiNG !
And thank you too, MowgliBook for the packs you release : now that the Google Code project died and we switched away from the EFI partition, you are our only centralized rendez-vous point !

Have a nice day !

Cobus.

I've spent some time testing The Kings's DSDT and set of kexts (for a couple of weeks). My mini has never been so stable. I'm sure you'll all love it.

However, I'm not really intending to release a new pack based on his work. I would say the rendez-vous point is here now. Almost all you need is here !

Just install everything in S/L/E, wait for the cache to rebuild and enjoy.
