Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for his whole life. So please, don't make a secret out of how you caught that particular fish ;-)

Sorry to post publicly Netkas but your PM box is full.

Thanks for all you have done for the community. I am sure you have seen developments with the Cartri bios for some of the EP45 series of GB boards. The 0.7m versions are working quite well but verbose boot shows that your fakesmc.kext is posting a message.

The message is:

FakeSMC: key info not found MSDS. Length - 6

Is this important and if yes, can it be fixed?

Thanks.

This has been done since the beginning.

- DL a firmware update from apple

- Open the .FD or .scap file inside the Resources folder of the application .

- Run "xfv-3 filename.rd" (or some official EFI extracting tools from various manufacturers like phoenix).

- All files get extracted with GUID names. (contains images, efi executables, icons, some others raw files).

PS : Some recent updates need several decompressions as the files they contain are themselves compressed by categories.

I extracted and properly decompiled the ACPI tables (required minor changes)

Enjoy...
