FreeBaGeL Posted April 6, 2010 Share Posted April 6, 2010 I recently installed a Snow Leopard hackintosh. My first order of business is getting the graphics drivers working, but that has proven more difficult than I anticipated. I'm a complete noob to OS X, so part of the issue may be that I'm having a bit of a hard time picking up just how to navigate around, and picking up all the terminology for it. I have a 512mb 8800gt nVidia graphics card. I installed EFI Studio and ran the EFI string from its gui for that card. I rebooted, and nothing happened. I'm still limited to single display, limited to only 1024x768 resolution, etc. So I tried OSX86tools, and ran the EFI String for the card using that. Still nothing. OSX86tools "scan hardware" option did not work for me. Any ideas, barring in mind that I'm completely new to this and googling it has been total information overload?
