Anyway for OS X to Save Things Where I Left Off? As is?

Hi. Supposing you've setup all your apps, grouped them in Spaces and resized everything, arranged everything because usually the OS has to reboot (updates for example), is there any way to set Snow to save where I left off as if I never shut it down or restarted it? If I use Automator and Login Items, I still lose things. If I shut down or restarted for example, I will lose the Safari pages I'm reading and have to reload the flash items (there are 3 windows opened each with about more than 30 tabs/pages opened total). If it's not possible with the iMac i7/8GB and Snow, is it possible with a third-party sofware and maybe with SSD drives which saves things as they were even when you turn it off? Thanks.

Gbu,

Alvin

i cant say whether or not you can save EVERYTHING the way it were before you were to shut down OS X but i dont know you can set up spaces to have apps load only into them from default. such as every time you open mail it opens in space window 3. i suppose if you size the windows just right then shut down it will work but i haven't tried it. but the spaces app thing, ive tried. go to prefenceses then spaces then down below should be application assignment. hit the plus symbol and start adding apps. whis i could be more help
