BuXb
Tony, delete the EFI grfx string in your boot.plist and try the latest version of NVEnabler. It works for both, 32 and 64 bit. http://www.kexts.com/view/118-snow_leopard_nvenabler.html Why did you flash your GeForce 7600GS ROM - what was not working before, what improved after flashing it with the ROM from nvinject.com? Thanks I will try that when I get home. Back in 10.5 days it was necessary (I think anyways) to flash it to get full QE/CI support on the 512 card, I did, and it worked right away hehe

Thanks for trying though. I have a new card now (that I am also struggling to get working), so I guess getting this one to work is no longer relevant for me. I only tested now to see if it worked or not, for others to see. I also had some kexts that I installed for the GTX 285, maybe that is part of the issue, so I don't want to rule that injector out for this particular card, someone else will have to try it again. Seasquack
Hi. Not sure it's the same issue, but somehow similar... I'm on SL 10.6.2, with graphics enabler on, ends up with a blue screen. Have to turn it off and no QE/CI support. Now, the thing is that i haven't installed anything. I have a Go 7700 512 Mb and can't find a way to get it to work. When i boot in safe mode though, i can see all the resolutions coming up available and much much smoother. Still quite sure there's no QE/CI enabled, but it's way better. Any hint? deeltje
Using 7900GS 256MB, Snow Leopard 10.6.4 (iAtkos S3 V2). Only NVInject for resolution works, but no Hardware-Acceleration whatsoever (video-perfomance is near to nothing). NVEnabler gives me blue screen Anyone has something close to a working condition? I need 2560-1600 resolution and hardware acceleration

NVEnabler gives me blue screen Anyone has something close to a working condition? I need 2560-1600 resolution and hardware acceleration After a full week of messing around and doing EVERYTHING I could to enable QE for my Nvidia Geforce 7300 Go graphics card, I finally did it easily! I am a total noob and don’t have a CLUE about Mac until 1 week ago! So if I can do it anyone can! I installed loads of {censored} edited strings, Nvida stuff and all sorts but nothing worked. I done every single thing possible until today I come across tonymacx86 blog! I had already installed MAC OSX 10.6.3 and all I did was install MAC OSX 10.6.4 update and in ##### installed Nvidia just that (was not specific to a particular Nvidia graphics card). Rebooted and now I can use imoves and QE is enabled. Mac OS X 10.6.4 Combo Update ##### The instructions are on this website: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/#####-#####-install-mac-os-x-on.html I hope this helps all the Nvida dudes out there, I have seen 100’s of post that you can’t enable QE on your graphic card! This will do it.
albeva
I've tried everything thinkable. Nothing works. Simply get blue screen and computer hangs. At best I get normal resolution without hardware acceleration.

Confirmed... this worked for me. All monitor resolutions show up and QE works. Be sure to also check restore cache option under MB's system utilities. Thanks so much had already spent days on this as well! Gringo Vermelho
We need to know why there s a KP in 64 bit mode Because 64-bit driver support for 7xxx series cards was removed in 10.6.3. You have to use older drivers or boot in 32-bit mode.
