I'm using a nice PowerBook G4 and I had to downgrade from 10.5.8 to 10.4.11 because I of lack of free space on my new 32GB SSD that I recently bought. The only thing thought that I really miss is the better AirPort connectivity that I had with 10.5.8 and so I'm wondering if things can be changed if I simply replace the kext files with those from 10.5.8 on my 10.4.11? Replace the AppleAirPort.kext with the one from 10.5 (don't remove the AppleAirPort2.kext despite 10.5 don't have it), correct the permissions and reboot. Enjoy MUCH stronger WiFi reception!!!
