acerimmer
Well, MacHackers, gurus, nerds, et al. You've finally done it. I thought I would never reach this point, but you have overcome my pitiful level of resistance. My low end Dell 1545 first saw Snow Leopard booted from SL 132 two months ago. I promised myself that if and when the day ever came that I achieved native resolution, I would then tackle the hat trick; triple booting. So I'm setting here with Ubuntu Studio on one partition, Snow Leopard on the other and 1366x768x32 native resolution. Deviato's newly updated chameleon seemed to do the final trick. I don't fully understand what he fixed, but it works. Mind you, I still can't play DVD's, use Previewer or take screen shots, but I believe every thing else functions. Neo Office saved me the cost of iwork or MS Office, so I effectively have a 90% functional Mac without paying the Apple Tax, aka Steve Jobs New Porsche Fund. Thanks, everyone! It's been a fun 2 months!
