quinielascom Posted February 26, 2010 Share Posted February 26, 2010 ATI 7500 Mobile/Desktop driver for 10.4.x Steps: 1.- Install the Radeon 7500 Pack.pkg. 2.- Edit the Dev ID in the Info.plist under Contents of CallistoHAL.kext <key>IOPCIMatch</key> <string>0x51571002&0xffffffff</string> 3.- Without reboot the system, with kexthelper 0.7b install the attached Callisto.kext and CallistoHAL.kext (v06). 4.- Finally unzip OpenGLframework.zip (from 10.4.1) and copy/replace to: /System/Library/Frameworks/ and reboot. 5.- Optional update the flash player plugin to version 9, in my computer the 10.x latest version didn´t works. 6.- Enjoy! wayneh1 Posted July 17, 2010 Share Posted July 17, 2010 I've had similar success with my ATI Radeon Mobility 7500 - same card for laptops. BUT, I cannot change resolution, bit depth, refresh rate, NOTHING. These all appear on the menus, but it's instant death to choose anything. So, do you have res switching?
